FL W204 ATF CHANGE

Anyone change the auto transmission fluid for FL W204 C200?   Don't seem to see dipstick to check auto trans fluid level, suggesting that the gearbox is a sealed unit, so no need to change gear fluid.  Any brother care to enlighten.  Thank you.

ATF is due for change at 60k mileage. I got mine changed recently at Chip Soon including labour at just below $300. I opted out to do it at CnC as they are charging ~ $700.

I am not too keen on doing with Chip Soon cos their quotes quite varied.....

Just go to Sin Ming ANG Auto to buy the oil. Head to any WS it's only 1hr job.

ANG auto allow you to return un-used bottle/oil.

Is there any particular ATF oil brand which we should use bro?

Had mine just done at Chip Soon.  More than $300 dollars.  Labour alone is $120.  Gear oil use is 5L.  Wonder is this enough for 7G Tronic gear box.  Anyone care to share.

mine is 7G tronic. Use 5L.  Wonder whether this is enough as no dipstick to check

Actually what does gearbox oil change involve? Is it just change ATF oil or is there a need to flush first, change oil filter and gasket and then replace oil?

For 7g owners, you should google the MB corporate bulletin specifying the draining of the TQ converter during your ATF change. Also, it should be updated to the red ATF oil now I think.
