Video in Motion (W211 Command APS)

Dear All,

Not sure if anybody can help me with this. I want to enable Video in Motion and I have read about the code to do so in other forum. I tried all and the furthest I get is into the engineering menu. I can't seems to get the Backdoor menu out to do the Video in Motion.

Secondly, I can see a Aux Menu in my Command APS, but I don't know where is the physical Aux port in my car.

My car is E200K 2005 model with command aps. Anybody got any idea ?

Thanks.

Aux port.

You need to buy the attachment to have the aux port working if I am not wrong.

Video in Motion. I believe you need the diagnostic computer to enable it. Yes I read abt the code too. It appears many folks cant do it too. You may want to contact Steve[think that is his name], the netherland guy for advice.

But then in my view, video in motion is ok but if it is for your rear passenger, you might as well get the rear console attachment at the centre rest. Video is automatically enable while in motion. And if I am not wrong, sound is piped into only the rear speakers.

Yeah I know it is not cheap also....

Oh I forgot.. you can also buy an interface module(from mods4cars) to enable the video in motion.

Think it cost around $400 to $600 and then you can get the local guys to help you install.

Let me know if you are keen because I got a gift voucher that I would like to utilise.

Think it is cheaper to buy from US & ship it in then to buy from them(Europe) direct.

Anyway I am not related to them by any means.

Hey... I tried that and it didn't work for mine.

I can get to Mute+Phone Down+Serv into Engineering Menu, 1+3+8 for Update, but 1+4+7 does nothing after pressing for 1 minute...

Sigh... not sure how

Regards,

Ed
