Wanted: Voluntary help needed for wedding on 27th Nov 2008

Hi all, I'm using my brother's account to post here. i will be getting married on the 27th Nov 2008, Thursday and would like to seek help in making it a lot more memorable for my wife. If it's possible, I would like see if there's anyone with CLK or SLK whose willing to help out on that day. Shades of silver or champagne would be preferred.

Due to my budget constraints, I will only be able to offer a hongbao of $80 for drivers who are willing to help out for this morning to noon event. I can only afford about 4-5 cars for now. Kind brothers/sisters who are interested please do sms/call me at 98487543. Thank you so much for your time.

bro, i think as long its a convoy of mercs. it will be rather impressive and unique. i think it will be something to remember for a long time.I personally won't mind helping you out (FL W211 myself ), but got to see timing cause exams just ended by then.

So keep updated, consider having other models, I think many of us would love to make your big day more memorable.

Thanks for the suggestion. I agree with you as well. I think it'll be too much and too greedy of me to only request for CLKs and SLKs. I'm open to all who are willing to take precious time off and help me out. I'll still like to be able to afford to rent a CLK or SLK to pick up my wife in, but I think it would be rather impossible. Haha. Anyway, the itineary would be that we'll set off from my place in Yishun around 7plus, reach my wife's place (Serangoon) around 8, then head back to my place and knock off from there. There's also refreshments provided at my place of course!

Those who are still keen in helping out please do let me know. Your kind gesture is very much appreciated!

Bro, i think it will be easier if you had join us more often or maybe still not too late to meet and buy us kopi....Shall discuss again when we meet.I had just recently arrange a wedding convoy of 4 Merc including a CLK cab.

Don't mean to rub it in, it is indeed beneficial to join us often in the monthly meetup and events to know each other better. Then it is easier to get a car or convoy, it may even be voluntarily offered.

Not knowing someone in depth (it is not even seen in this case), how to expect owner to hand over a SLK or CLK?

Fyi, the last wedding convoy i had arrange for a good bro of mine, i manage to get a CLK from a bro here out of his goodwill @450, a W211 @300, another W211(good will :thumbsup:) and my own W204....Total of 4 all black Merc benz.....

That really make a memorable wedding for the wedding couples.....

My advise is...Rent a SLK/CLK for maybe 500 or more first, than ask help from fellow member here for maybe 150 each Merc.....150 is actually not very much...Petrol/Time/ERP/Tyre/Engine/Mileage.......

Even if you are paying for 5 Merc plus a SLK, it only cost you 1250 for a nice and momorable wedding convoy....

Your in-laws and relative will also love you deep deep :-*...just imagine ,showing the motach to all your guest at the dinner of this Merc wedding convoy.... :love7: :thumbsup:

Cklasse you are right... personally for most of our members.. money's not really the issue (if it was, we won't be driving mercs in the first place) - though it certainly would help - its more the comaraderie that most people are looking for..

Jerrick - must do some ground work. bear in mind the 27th is a thurs... it would take quite a bit to have people take leave from work just to be part of your wedding convoy. :punk1:
