Mileage is only 19km. This is considered as "new" used car. IMO, the price is not attractive enough for this category. This could be a case of buyer who changed his mind but couldn't withdraw.

Likely, these are cars "disguised" as used cars meant for those who die-die must own an expensive car but cannot afford the 50% downpayment. It seems that for used cars, one can buy for very little downpayment. Because the agent is also the importer, it is able to control its cost and the retail price so it can register the cars and then sell to their 'kah ki lang' used car dealers to re-sell. This also helps with their end-of-year sales figures.

I will not buy a C180 having owned one before and that was a 1.8 kompressor engine.  Just bought a FL C200 7Gtronic W204 and has never regretted it.  Saw the W205 C180, but still decided to buy the W204 C200.    Just my 2 cents worth.

Isn't your C200 also using the same 1.8 litre engine except that it is turbo-charged as opposed to the compressor? The W204 C180, after 2007, was using the 1.6 litre engine instead, if I am not mistaken?

I am still using my W203 with the 1.8 litre compressor engine and, frankly, I am satisfied with the performance for what it is meant to be.

That said, I agree with you that I will not buy the W205 C180 because of the smaller 1.6 engine, never mind that it is turbo.

But I hope you bought your W204 at a good price because there will be a steep price difference between your W204 and the W205. There is already a big price difference between the 2006 W203 versus the 2007 W204. The salesman knew I was waiting for the W204 but he told me it will not come so soon and convinced me to buy the W203. My big mistake listening to him. I will never buy from him again.

Wah, pay $200'000 for a new Merc? Mai la, too much money!

Will just use it till end 2006 and see how things go. After all, the depreciation from now on will be minimal.

I still think that something drastic will happen to the CoE system soon. It is fueling lots of discontent and difficulties for small business owners needing small vans for their deliveries and the motor-cyclists (especially those businesses which provide motorcycles for their service staff to go out and do site maintenance and repairs).

Hopefully CoE will come down to saner levels. I dont want to make the same mistake of buying a car when the CoE was $100'000 many years ago. That was a big OUCH!!!

Now growing older and "face" is no longer important. Heehee. More shiok to have money in your pocket than owing the bank.

Yes my C180 PFL W204 was a 1.8 compressor engine vs my current ride of C200 FL W204, but the difference is the torque, the turbocharged engine and 7G tronic.  This makes the drive a lively and smooth one.   No regrets buying this pre-own ride with 23k mileage and navi command.
