Updating 2014 GPS

Just acquired a used 2011 Nov FL W204 with GPS installed.

Have tested the map and found the map cannot recognised some new road in Sg and My.

Any idea how can I get it updated? Is there any WS to.recommend?

Btw I am new to MB, mind if I ask its a basic spec for all MB to come with GPS installed?

Some of the 2011 batches come with Comand, due to some promo back then. Is yours Comand or aftermarket GPS installed locally.

Its command and its kinda of nice to have it.

Issue is: map outdated. Need update.

115K?  Is yours the C180CGI?   Just bought mine from Republic Auto a FL C200 W204 Oct 2011 with Command at 138k.  Mileage is 23.5k.  Have wanted to update GPS map but was told by CnC that you have to purchase the CD to instal and it cost around $2k.   Was told by some seniors here to go to Elebest in one of my thread in this forum.  You can call me at 97355834 to share experience as I am also new to this GPS command.   Maybe can go update together for better price.

Mine is C180K. I think your price is ok for C200.

I just bought a C180 Sep 2011 model for $121K 2 months ago.

 

Am having some problem with the GPS. Can't seems to enter postal code or address manually as it seems to be only recognize those already in the system. Any bros here can give me some advise on how to fix it?

I have this problem too on my C200 FL W204.   I cannot enter postal code too other than those selected.  I thought this could be due to out-of-date map, but my ride is Oct 2011 and the postal code I want to enter is way before that date.  I am lost and hope some forumners here can help.  Thank you.

Solution = Update GPS.

It cost 2000++

There is a cheaper option to update 2014 map for mercedes GPS.  It cost S$800 and takes an hour.   Cnc charge S$2k+
