C180 7G Airbag Malfunction

Hi people,

 

My car has not been used for 4 days and today when i put the key in n turned it once an error showed saying "Airbag Sign" & "Front Right Side Malfunction. Consult Workshop"..

 

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery hoping the error message would go away but it doesn't..All other functions of the car work fine..the horn and the buttons on the wheel..

 

Any idea what's wrong?

Hi there. Check your car battery , it could be as simple as that. 

 

Check that first. I had the same warning before and it was my car battery.

Did a battery check and the battery is fine..any other ideas on what could be wrong?

Go for a star diagnostic check!

1. It will clear your srs check airbag warning and if it comes back the checks will tell what's the cause.

2. May tell what's the cause of your wing mirrors folding malfunction.

You can get the checks done by

1. CnC

2. Site sponsors MBM or Optimawerk.

3. Other "reliable" Wkshp with Star Diagnostic softwares.
