1st servicing at CnC

Hi all

I know that there is some other threads on servicing, but can't find the information I need.

I am going for the 1 year servicing at CnC for my W204 (need to go back so that warranty don't get void). What should I look out for and how much should I expect to pay? Are there things like engine oil that I should get myself to keep the cost lower, and also things that I should ask them not to change or do? Heard about their carrot price, so a bit wary. Thanks!

Just tell them not to add wiper fluid and engine bay cleaning for all servicing if you are paying by cash and no service credit just like me. Any parts change call u for blessing before replacement.

1st servicing, 15k km damage is about less than $400. Next 30k km, estimated $1000+ & 45k km is $400 or less till 60k km will cost u about $2000. Yes, please use the search function is free.

Hi guys,

I just got a reminder to book my first service last week. The thing is that, I only collected my ride Aug 2013 and it's just reached 10k km. Can you bros advice if I should go soon or just wait until before 1 year to go in?

Another concern I have is that, yesterday my trip menu, the trip odometer (1 if referring to manual, the one that you can reset) kinda auto-reset itself and I know I did not accidentally do that. It usually display the 10k+ km, since day 1 I collected it, but it went to 6.9km, I noticed it when I turned off engine and the display went to that standard trip meter. Its weird.

Any one of you bros experience this before? I usually am at the display "From Start" trip-meter to gauge my fuel consumption for the daily trips, and use the "From Reset" to monitor my full tank consumption (cos I reset every time I pump full tank). So It will never be at the Standard Display and show the total mileage, and if it not at that screen, no one will ever be able to reset it. Just too strange it happen when its nearing the first servicing.

Thanks for sharing any views you have on the above.
