2013 W204 7Gtronic ATF question

Recommended Posts

Hi, does my 2013 C180 7G 1.6l have the 7G tronic plus transmission or just the 7G non plus version?

What type of Transmission fluid must I use? The 236.15(blue) or 236.14(red)?

Also, what is the total amount I need if I have to drain my torque converter?

Cheers!

Your C180 is either M271 or M274 engine , its come with 7G tronic plus. Need to use 236.15 Blue color.

Total amount is 9.3 quart. You shoud buy 10 anyway.

What you should buy is

1. Pan rubber gasket  MB part MA 220 271 03 80

2. Tranny filter

3. Tranny nut, it is stretch nut which need to replace . 6 of them, MB parts MA 004 990 35 12 . (Torque all 6 to 4 Nm or it will leak, dont torque too much , it will broken)

4. ATF laser 4986 to fill ATF to tranny , http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATF-Adaptor-For-Mercedes-Benz-722-722-9-Laser-4986-/310570609185?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item484f736a21

4.1  Hand pump (cheap one is enough)

4.2  Manual Drain valve & rubber hose to connect with Laser 4986

5. Drain plug gasket , MB part MN 007 603 012102

6. Thermometer to measure 45 C and drain excess ATF from that temperature.

You may buy it from peliganparts.com  They have whole set of Tranny oil changer for you.

Good luck , actually I wanna help you to do this but I am in Thailand.
