W203 - C180K Coupe

Hi and Good day All, 

 

I know you guys are constantly swarmed by such noob requests on buying a new MB, but I am really hoping that I can tap into your expertise. Hence can I ask for your kind opinion please? 

 

 

I am currently looking at buying a used c180K coupe (w203). I really like the 4 round headlights and the design of the car compared to the newer design. Here are the two cars that I have shortlisted so far.

I have also searched through the forum and it seems that there are no major issues with w203 model (on the assumption that the previous owners have showered their rides with tender loving care TLC...   )

 

Other than the standard procedures like bringing the car to AA / C&C for a throrough inspection, checking the history of the car, do you all think the above are good buys? 

 

By any chance are the owners of the above cars in here also? 

 

Just another question though and I know it may sound a little stupid. Will C&C be able to do a thorough inspection and ceritfy if the above cars are not bought through them originally?

No problem. It's just to let you be aware of some known problem with a high mileage W203.

I believe c&c will have record of vehicle if sold by them thr servicing record.

But not sure if they will say if any accident to car before. Alternative is send to a workshop you trust to vet.
