Hi all,

Am new here..... Thanks for a wonderful forum website on MB cars

Does anyone know how to fix back the mirror for the rear view mirror? It drop off previously after a motorbike hit onto it and I tried fixing it back but occassionally, it will still drop out.....kind of embarrassing when driving half-way in the middle of the road :angry3: The signal light cover already crack so I wonder if there is replacement for the cover only or must I change the whole set? ???

Thanks and cheers,

Jeepo :bboyspin:

I changed my pre FL mirror light to a new FL clear lens type. So YES! you can get the light to change it without changing the whole mirror assembly.

The side mirror is held by clips only to the motorised mechanism. You need to figure out how to locate the mirror and it will clip on easily. Mine came out after a car wash and I simply push it back to the clips.

I changed mine from a frosted pre FL type to a LED FL type. Just buy it from Merc parts shop or go to MBM to have it changed. If I am not wrong, it cost $80 for a pair and you can even DIY change it if you are game to do it.
