W204 FL driver seat uncomfortable hard as stone ?

Wonder anyone feel uncomfortable after 1 hr drive? I personal feel that the seats supports are thin and hard.

Thanks for the feedback,  Seem that I have not being over "sensitive" all this while. I really have a "Hard Time" with the seat always have the hard rubbing sensation and can really feel the back support structure of the seat (even having the lumbar support lever at neutral position) thinking of re-upholstery the seats.  My coy 12 years old pick up truck driver seat is even more comfortable then my W204's.

Black25 is like many of us, may have never sat in the other passenger seats.....

Isn't harder seats give better and firmer support to the driver than a soft comfy sofa seats?

Mine is also w204, but feel ok leh.....in fact feels quite good....maybe I already padded....

Actually hard or soft for me is fine. Lumbar support is most important for me especially long journeys.

You might wanna try the E-class then. the seats are larger, thicker and also more comfortable. Its a class of difference.

Just tried E class for 6 hrs. Yes better seating position and do not have the back rubbing problem caused by W204 seat but seat is very firm. Suspect W204 horizontally stitch lines and poor cushioning or seat structure caused the discomfort (1.8m 90kg load) . Just happen to google for  "mercedes benz seat uncomfortable"  Bingo ... many from UK and US mkt owners affirmed that MB cars seat is one of the worse they have ever came across and also for health reason and unbearable back pain they have decided to dump their cars or changed seats if they wish to keep their car. However, many commented MB do made good cars but not good seats. If can't fix the seat, I going to give up this ride. I can never imagine I have to make this decision after owning W204 for just a short period. 1.6 CGI "Good Power, Good FC 680 to 730 km per tank - lamp on, Bad Seat"

honestly...i can't imagine someone can decide to change car because of the seats too. maybe i am poor

Seating position can be adjust to your comfy level, I'm 185, 80kg and happy with the seat.

I have never found any discomfort in MB seats from my W168 to W203 to W204.

Maybe this has to do with my small build of 1.66m. The A-class had complaint of seat side handle (lever) broken due to driver sitting on it when getting in and out of car. However, my seat handle never breaks for as long as I owned the car.

Similarly, I had driven the W203 countless times to Malaysia without any discomfort and till now, the W204 seat is still comfortable to me.

I find that getting a good seating position requires frequent minute adjustment to get every setting right. After that, I will not move the seat. For this reason, memory seat is a feature that is useful.

My previous seat had no minute fine-tuning whatsoever. My MB seats are fully electronic, hugs me when I'm seated and is adjustable for lumbar support. What more can I ask?

Need to get the settings right..... loved the seats in the DS 5.... The leather feels soooo good. . Perhaps should change my c seats to nappa....

I got no issue.....I am 183 120kg.....maybe just maybe my body too padded to feel anything.......
