Question onReplacement Bulb for HID

Hi, went to Autobacs today to get replacement bulb (8000k) for my W204 bi-xenon which I think comes with 4500k. Found out from the workshop technicians that the holder of the bulb is special and the replacement bulbs cost S$1100.00 !!!

Anybody out there knows where can I get something cheaper?

I think the bulb is the same for W203 and W204, ie a D2R or D2S has the same type of connectors.

I got my Philips 6000k bulb from MBM for $400. I have discovered that a Philips bulb is about $400 and a Koren made one is about $200 for a pair in most shops, be it Autobac or MBM.

Autobacs are no expert at Merc, I was there yesterday and was asking abt the white lights for the license plate and they say no bulbs suitable for merc.
