Advice Need: C180ML Sports Or C200ML

Hi all gurus,

need valuable advice from the gurus. I wanted to get the C200ML sports but apparently, its sells like hot cakes cant get any. Next best alternative is the C180ML Sports. I saw both cars with almost the same depreciate and also saw that the dash and speedo inside are different. The sports definitely looks so much better but which would be a better buy assuming almost identical condition? Links below:

there must be a difference, ie : mileage, conditions, etc.

Have you tried E200 ? to see the difference in sound insulation.

I have only tried the C180. But saw both cars. But the interior of the C180 Sports blow me off the moment I sit in as compared to C200  . But if the mileage is almost the same which would be a better buy?

but ask yourself this..... would you buy and sit in a car where the interior does not even make U comfy.... let alone excited???? seen both your picture... the C200 really look dull....

What about the engine condition. Weird noise?

Drive feel. Weird bumps? Sound?

Gear changes. Smooth? Awkward? weird sound?

Can also send them in for AA evaluation.

small money compared to the tens of k u will be spending.

Color wise may need consideration if u are particular.

Yes. my ride is C180 sports

The C200 is an Elegance trim, with the 4 spokes steering wheel. W203 C200 tend to have memory seats while the C180 does not. C200 has higher power than C180. I would go for the C200, however base on the 2 you have listed, the C180 looks better and is a newer car compared to the C200.

The picture shows the memory seat switches in the C180.

Yup, I will go down and take a look at the C180 and request for a AA inspection. Mileage and conditon wise, C180 is definitely better. Is it advisable to send to AA or our sponsor for a detail inspection?

Lol...totally agree. Does not appeal to me at all that's the reason why I didnt even test drive the car...

Great, but of course before making the deposit, will definitely send to workshop for an inspection and a report. Thanks. As both cars are almost on par on dep, and if given would prefer the C180 too but will have a lower hp.

Am I right to say that either AA or Vicom will be good enough since they give extended warranty.

Newie, another question you got to ask yourself is if you are a mod person....if you are then the dull interior can be changed.....a more powerful engine is something which cannot be change unless you Tiau engine lar.....

There are just so many things which you can do to make a dull car "blink"......

Just my 2cents worth.....

one example.. my ride is a c180k... should have done more research... should have gotten a c200k instead.

cannot find anything that can mod to improve the power..

 

anyway, too late already.. just conserve my moolah until CLA comes onshore

Oldman, no sure will not be doing any mods, maybe change the hu to DD and the front logo & grille to W204 version. Other than that definitely wun be enhancing the power. Also if I change the HU to touchscreen pioneer, can I still use the steering wheel control. Went to test drive both cars but more comfortable with C180 due to engine quietness, better drive and condition. But I have to agree the C200 is much better in terms of the power and its dep is almost with same. Now neg the pricing with dealer. Anywhere to purchase the front grille and logo of the W204 to fit onto W203? I saw there's 1 that changed it but dont not where to get and if it fits direct or needs to modify.
