2nd time, it did not prompt at all.

My ride is C200 /W204.

Punctured tyre can leak slowly. Usually below like 15-18 PSI then it will show.

I had a sneak attack on my tires in KL, I managed to drove it all the way to check point before it went flat.

The warning came on about 100km away from the check point.

Dear bros & sis,

Thanks for all e kind reply..

My puncture quite serious, within 30s totally flat.. Do we have to reset every time we pump air?

Just went down to workshop yesterday for a check , tyre pressure is still activated. Nuttin is wrong, so have to monitor .

Hopefully it never prompt, if not, means another puncture...Haha

Nope if maintain the same air pressure.

I juz changed my rims n tyres few days ago n today i got a check tyre pressure msg.. Hw come? So fast tyres lose pressure already?

Reset and monitor again. If persist there is a leak, get it check.

The tire pressure loss warning system is not a true TPMS which has a pressure transducer
install in each wheel, measuring the physical air pressure.

In W204, the tire pressure loss warning system compares the rotational speed of all the
4 wheels over a distance, probably a few tenths of kilometers. If one of the
wheels has low pressure, the diameter of the wheel will be smaller than others
thus rotates faster then others, this will trigger the warning message.

If a tire burst or gone flat over a short distance, it won’t trigger the message.

The tyre really looks new....care to share what tyre u used?

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Tyres look worn on the inner threads. Could be a case of under inflation or leak. Based on the height of the suspension, it can't be due to negative camber. Perhaps the rim itself might have developed a leak since you have gone through so many tyres.

One important question. .. did u offend anybody... cos to lose 13 tyres in 1 week after rims change only leads to 1 conclusion... VANDALISM.... just my hunch... maybe I'm wrong.. but the possibility is high... somebody don like u...

pity your prodrive rims, have to suffer 13 times...

not sure if its the picture but the tire looks weird as if the rubber is sort of separate from the tire wall. seems like the hole is on the wall.

perhaps u can check the week/year stamp on the side of the tire to determine when it came out of the factory. like 5212 is 52nd week of 2012 to confirm freshness

wow... 13 tyres in 1 week? And how did you manage to burst your tyre so badly? A case of over inflation?

Rmb to get your rims checked as they might be dented/cracked when they hit the road

I was on stock pzero for the 1st 4 tyres then nxt day went leong seng to change new rims n tyres to csc5... Then after tat went hm feels tat 17" like very small so nxt day went bk to change 18" n new set of ps3 tyres.. Haha... So total i used 12 tyres plus the spare tyre makes 13 lo...

I kena a big nail at seletar west link tats y the tyre msg prompt came on but bef i can go check the tyre bursted due to the heat fr wat i was told by daniel of leong seng..

You had the same situation as one of the bro here who change a few rims in a year, but you just beat the guinness record in a week..
