It means taking off the muffler and cutting it open from the top side to remove the insulation and if you pay a bit $ to cut a straight through pipe to fit.

Hahaha... that sounds like a nip-tuck and reconstruction work. Innovative indeed!!! Will termites send me to inspection centre for a thorough checkup? My inspection is not due till mid next year.

yes. inspection charges apply. if u fail, $500 + reinstall approved exhaust & reinspection, at your cost.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Thanks for the heads-up bro.

Darn...!!! That's an expensive price to pay for a modest vanity.

Not too long ago I saw a termite enforcer doing push-up position behind a bro's CL around Frankle Estate area. Are they on a crack-down campaign or something...???

if it's about vanity, u just need exos tip modification. this modification has no penalty involved.

an operated muffler is not just a modest vanity. if u have very basic power modifications, an operated muffler actually gives u better power gains than most, if not all, aftermarket exhaust. totally, illegal, of course.

Done that... the quad tip, that is. Heard the "grrrrr" of a white C63 Black Series passing by me the other day along Marine Parade Road and fell in love at first sound. Looking (or hoping) to find a exos system that's legal and can give similar sound effect but don't wanna get into trouble with chengHu coz I've been enjoying additional 5% discount on insurance premium on top of the 50% NCD for several years oredi. I'm not into racing but once in awhile enjoy street mischief and that's about it, so power enhancement is not too important. Hehehe...
