Servicing Workshops

Hi All,

Is there any good workshop to recommend for servicing for w204 or Mercedes in general apart from CnC? Mine is coming 55k and used to my previous workshop that service only Jap cars for many years and looking for good workshops elsewhere.

If any, do recommend to me.

Appreciate it, thanks!

Hi benzee, you may want to check out BH Auto.

www.bhauto.com.sg

Personally have not try it but heard from word of mouth is not bad and reasonable price.

You may want to check out Nam Sing at AMK autopoint. Introduce by my previous workshop as they only service Jap.

Change my wiper pump and trunk lock on my W204. Reasonable price. Service, good. Will go back for oil change and brake pad.

I notice many bro recommended many other workshops besides CnC such as OKI Motor, BH Motor, Nam Sing etc but may I know if they have the diagnosis equipment?

I only know MBM have the disgnosis machine. For normal wear n tear i go outside workshop too in Sin Ming area as those normal wear n tear dont need diagnosis machine.

I think it depends on the type of service/repair you are looking at.

Minor work like serving, replacement of batt, brake pad, etc etc.. you can just do outside so as not to be protong by cnc. However if you are looking at major issues which require diagnostic then it would be better to go back to the right people to do the job...

But again, end of the day is your pocket that decide your options...

Bro the diagnostic machine is of no use for normal servicing or repairs unless its a major repair where you need to do some resetting.

Most of the ws do have 3rd party diagnostic scanner. There is a ws at tampine selling Launch Scanner, he can even connect your ride directly to Germany.

Sorry perhaps I should rephase what i wrote:

Workshop as recommended such as OKI, BH motor, Nam Sing - Do they have the Diagnosis machine?

I think we need at least for them to connect to reset the service reminder in our meter for next servicing due, I think most workshop can do that.As for diagnosis, I think what ClearVision meant is just like a normal servicing with a scan through of the system to check for faults, not to troubleshoot problems, am I right?
