Need advice on how to set DRL on for good.

Hi Peeps,

Glad to be part of this community, newbie here and here's my first post!

I'm driving a C180K '12, been figuring how to set my DRL on for good but still dont know how even after flipping thru the whole manual.

Pls advice me on this if u have any idea.

If your car does not come with the optional Intelligent Light System (ILS) aka factory fitted xenon lights, you cannot turn the DRL on with the headlights. Once the headlights come on, the DRL will turn off. The only way to keep it turned on is to mod the car. Most of us who have done this mod did it at Autospritze, look for Ah Boon. (Your whole bumper needs to be removed for this modification.) This mod is typically known as the DRL Dimmer mod. Do a search on DRL Dimmer and you should get some results.

Consider changing your headlights to HID same time

Headlight changed, but at first I didn't realize I can't set the DRL so I didn't do it. Now headlight and DRL color got slight difference... Sianz...

HID must change once u do the DRL dimmer mod.

Or else the lights will be difference.

Look for Sonic for yr DRL & HID mods. U wont feel sianz after that especially for nite drive in NS。 however if u hv concern with TP & warranty issue then this mods is not for u.

What colour temperature did you choose for your headlights? Typically 6000k is close to the DRL colour

ha, i oso dunno. but gg to Autospritze recommended by 3rd gear to get it done today.

Usually 6000K will be close to DRL colour. However, the headlight will be slightly whiter than DRL colour
