Big brake kit for W204 ?

I searched MBWorld forum yesterday, and I came across on interesting thread with Alcon big brake kit for C class.

I used Alcons kits on my VW before, and they worked amazing. I think, if we find here more interested people, we can ask company which sell them for better price. Anyone would be interested in Alcon brake kit for C class ? If so, I may ask how many we need to order to get some discount.

I wish ....

I have standard brake system. Even if I had AMG brakes, I would change for Alcons. I had Alcons on my three VW, and they worked better than any Brembo GT.

Seems like the seller is going to engage Alcon UK to produce front + rear set. Based on his initial pricing for front set only, the full set may be just close to an AMG set *guesstimate*

I stay in touch with JDL, that is distributor for these brakes.

Not sure about AMG price, but they quoted me for the front and rear kit 3100 GBP + shipping. I think, if there is the bigger group of keen C class owners, than price can be negotiated.

Also, I expect it is better product than AMG kit. Alcon said, that calipers are same as each others from Advantage Extreme kits, so forged monoblocks, and disc size 365 mm.

Bro, I prefer Alcon. As mentioned before, I used them in past on my others cars, and they were best ! Alcon produce BBK for Brabus, anyone who had chance to test Brabus BBK, will know what I'm talking about.

I contacted Alcon UK last week, and they told me, that worldwide exclusive distributor for C class kits, is their European dealer JDL.

I contacted JDL trough my collegue from Austria, because he knows JDL owner very well, and they said if we find min. 5 customers they can do :

 

£3130 shipped for front and rear kit. Shipping by UPS air freight ( service door to door )

 

Front kit is 6 pistons monoblock calipers, 365x32 mm discs, DS performance pads, braided brake lines, brake fluid, and full fitting kit. 

Rear kit is 4 pistons calipers, 343 mm discs, DS performance pads, braided lines, brake fluid, and full fitting. 

 

They can split front and rear kits, for those who want to buy only front. I'm pretty sure, we get better price when we buy front and rear. 

 

Alcons are not cheap, but anyone who had chance to use Alcon before can say, they are far better than many others kits.

I asked about colors. 

They are available in silver only, but JDL can order batch of 5-6 kits to one group of people in other color. So if we want to order 5 sets with ( for example ) red calipers, they can do 5 sets with red calipers.
