Problem? (side mirror folding)

It started happening yesterday, and today as well. When I parked my car, I pushed the button for the side mirror to fold in.. Then there's the long loud, slightly sharp which sounded similar to the sound of when the mirror folds in (the folding motor mechanism sound), besides the usual mirror folding sound..Will monitor for few more days before deciding to send to C&C for checks.

Anyone encountered similar experience when the side mirrors fold in?

**apologies for the way I described.. very layman and seems confusing.. hope whoever reads understands what I am saying..

I have this audible sound too and C&C SA told me that it is common. The side mirror motor/gear cannot be repair but can be replaced....anyway, at least I know that the mirrors are folding without turning my head to confirm.

Everyone expects a Mercedes-Benz to be a perfect car but the real world is it is not.

It's a more expensive car that is certainly better built but not perfectly built.

This spot on, some people failed to realize that no such thing perfect car and expect red carpet treatment from AD because driving MB, I learnt my lesson already I got better treatment last time when I had problem with my MZ 6 sp claiming for warranty compared trying to claim warranty for my B class last time.

My left side mirror started squeaking a month ago when the mirror fold out. Quite annoying sometimes.
