Front passenger airbag

How can I deactivate and activate the front passenger airbag so that I can place my baby seat in front?

iirc... normally... in other countries, mercs sell baby seats with transponders in them. the transponder will automatically disable the passenger airbag.

however, i recall seeing at the side of the dashboard that SG models don't have the reader that detects the transponder.

so... if your car have the reader installed in the front passenger seat, you could either,

1. turn off using STAR

2. buy merc's child seat

3. buy just the transponder
