Exhaust tips/Rear bumper add-on

Hello everyone,

gonna collect my new C180 7G-Tronic in Oct.

Cant wait for it.

Anyway, the SE from C&C mentioned that the exhaust tips were dual and uncovered. Looks ugly in my opinion.

Read also some members in SGMERC placed chrome tips. However does anyone know if there is a similar rear bottom bumper like the one on the E-Class that can be install? Prefer it over just the chrome tips. My SE also mentioned that the chrome tips cant be done at C&C but at outside workshops but he has been given feedbck that they rattle.

My SE is not recommending it due to rattling noises that his customers experience..but can C&C really install it?

Your SE is pulling a fast one. I took out mine and sold it. No rattling whatsoever!

I'll go ask my SE again..see if he relents..the last time i mentioned, he only indicated that it could be done at outside workshops.

The two tailpipes that come stock look quite bad with no tips..

Plus must get the daylights programmed to day and night..with change of headlights to white lights..car havent come already drawing up a list of zhngs

think the interior lights need to change..

was thinking of a bolt on front lip like those for the Evo X from HOS but thats just the old ah beng in me..haha

thought of adding a rear diffuser with inbuilt exhaust openings like this but only Lorinser has that type of bodykit..

Fierce... However, for the FL C class I dont think there are any bodykits readily available in the market. Do keep us posted if you are able to get them.

Do you have the AMG kit? If so you can change the rear diffuser more easily

This design looks odd on our c class. i'd tried to put on before. As W204 width is too small, after installing, the tips look very close together and very ugly.

Finally, i decided on quad exhaust. You can go to man-exhaust... they have this trapezium (correct?) shape exhaust with them... go test it out yourself see if you like or not. They can modify the diffuser for you also.

I'm waiting for my C180 Coupe too! You took the Obsiadian Black yeah?

Dude, who is your SE? I had the Chrome Pipe thrown in for free. It's the bare minimum, the uncovered exhaust looks ghastly.

Also, my friend recently bought a E class, with those exhuast, have to admit, they looked awesome, on an E class. I don't think they will look as good on a C class tho.

I have a suspicion, that C&C actually gets the car, no matter which tier, with Chrome Tailpipes, and use the "Oh I'll throw in Chrome tail pipes for you" as a gimmick. And if you didn't ask/enquire about it, they'll charge you extra for it.

Get it from your SE if possible, can save some $$. But I still prefer my titanium twin pipe :)
